We are excellent at keeping each other in the dark! And our trick for doing so is to be ‘innocently reactive’ when it comes to information sharing. “They didn’t ask, that’s why they don’t know.” Or: “I have no clue what’s cooking there. But to be honest, I haven’t asked.”

When in doubt, share. When unclear, ask. And invite questions and feedback without defending. Let’s make things visible and speakable rather than hidden and taboo.
